Ok. My brain hurts. Seriously. I think it's overloaded

I wonder how much knowledge a person can cram into their brain before it seriously goes into overload and breaks down

Days like today, I am seriously reconsidering my chosen career path.

Any one else have days like this? Where you just feel like you can NOT learn anymore without exploding?

Always! :)

I devour books whole personally. But yes, sometimes the amount of information can be staggering. Mental exercise like physical exercise, should be regular but paced.

While having no first hand experience, I would imagine exploding would prove less interesting than learning.

Personally, I have two speeds ... full speed, and sleeping. I don't wear down, as much as totally shut down. Three minutes after my head hits the pillow, you could shoot a cannon in my bedroom and I would sleep right through it. My only peaceful activity is drunken sunbathing.

I'll probably die of old age, at age 30.

During 3 to 4 hour lectures in school or during speeches, I learned that the mind can only take what the bottom can endure.

I have days like that all the time.

I am also beginning to think that I must lose a piece of information everytime I gain a new piece of information.

That or I am just getting old....lol

Molecular Biophysics

Be very, very careful with Molecular Biophysics. Heads have been known to pop like zits when studying Molecular Biophysics. In Japan there's a whole industry that's sprung up of people who clean up after students' heads have exploded, and many are forced to study in rooms with tiles on the ceilings and walls just to make cleanup easier. Stay away from Organic Chemistry, too.

I suspect that my brain's been about full for several years.

My plan is to find a way to clear out the large part of it that's storing information about songs from the '70s and '80s.

Stupid brain.  You could have rocket science in there!

Well no wonder.

What school do you attend ... SMU? I attend Rice, but have considerably less lofty goals.

Maybe I could walk around with a bag around my head to avoid the mess?
