As my pet dastan said, this person is deeply disturbed. And I mean distrubed in a way that I'd find as a good cause to call the cops and the local asylum. Although his suggestions to let the guy feel what the poor mice would feel by putting him in one of those junkyard hydraulic compressors did seem reasonable to illustrate a point: if he so badly wants to fulfill his fantasy, let him do it himself without harming others to do so.

Eroticizing death, cruelty and such is something that can be really close to homicidal tendencies. Also, the concept of crushing bugs and such life forms is akin to CBT fantasies gone too far, Truth is, the person who asks for the crushing cannot experience it for simple self-preservation so he finds a proxy on which to see it done and from which to transplant the experience upon himself, but he's only half of it.
We must also see that the crusher is doing it also for the purpose of destroying a living creature as a way to express his inner power, of course, in a sick way, and be able to let himself out without a restriction by finding an acceptable, and viable proxy to his brutality, and that's the other half of the mix.
The mutilation, cruelty, brutality and abuse to animals is a start to later move on to do worse things. I myself had heard of many stories inside BDSM, during my pro stint, I did hear about Mistresses who fulfilled such fantasies for their clients, and sometimes in a worse, more gruesome manner, and it then leads to worst things, like moving such tendencies towards human beings, it's pretty much an average start for snuff videos of gore and abuse and these snuff junkies can find their filth anywhere on the net, and trust me, there are lots of sites where they hang these videos of women crushing from fish to mice, from bugs to reptiles and worse, as some say there have been bigger animals used and God knows what else.
One day this snuff junkie decides to do his own video and then he goes one step too far and moves on to the enxt level, chasing the next high while diving deeper into his darker self.
Our culture nowadays doesn't stand on higher moral ground than romans at the colisseum. We still want to see violence, blood and we have a morbid curiosity towards such events, if not a likeness, yet we can't stop to look at some horrible war or accident pictures, and see a medical procedure on TV with lots of blood and such, especially when it's from an ER where some poor man had an accident and he's got his arm almost hanging by a thread of sinew, not because we really wish the guy to be harmed, but because we can't help to be attracted to it, we don't want it to happen to us yet we want to see it, sort of watching the bottom of the abyss by standing close to the edge but just behind the security rail.
Other cultures have cockfights, dogfights and worse, and they have transferred it into ours, and others have even made it into a tourist event like the running of the bulls in Spain, leading them to the bullfighting arena where they shall be brutalized and killed and yet people visit from all countries of Europe to see the running part only and enjoy an adrenaline rush and even see the bullfighter at the plaza thinking that it makes them so manly to try one day to do it themselves....
My own thoughts are simplistic: call the cops or authorities, denounce both the crusher and the guy on the floor getting the crushing on his own self, and let all people see how evil they were and use it to send a message that such things can't be tolerated in our community.
