Optical, has two buttons + a wheel button, isn't wireless.

This is all I care about.

Optical so that you don't have to fish crap out of it, has two buttons because I have more than one finger, isn't wireless so there is no need to change a battery.

Wireless is good if your want to control you PC from out in the garden.

I don't need eleven buttons because I have this thing called a keyboard.

What is the world coming to?

If your mouse is wireless you could lose it, this is the other disadvantage.

That has way too many buttons althought I like what looks like the volmue control on the thumb side. I like a wireless optical mouse I have one that sits in a cradle and charges itself over night, but holds a charge for weeks

I don't really find the wire to be a large hindrance to movement.

Next you'll be buying a wireless washing machine or a wireless TV.

I have both wireless and wired, both optical, basic 2 button, plus wheel  I dont need bells and whistles ...altho I do wish that keyboards came with an enter key on the left hand side, as I use my mouse with my right hand...anyone else see the need? its just plain awkward sometimes.
I keep my wireless mouse by my bed with an extra keyboard, just in case, but I much prefer to sit in my office and at the desk  so I only put batteries in the wireless when i need it

To put the enter button on the left, all you need to do is turn the keyboard upside down, yank all the keys out and stick them back in but rotated (180 degrees).

This is my tip of the day.

I like my mouse wireless because when I run my compter the my procector to watch movies I can take the mouse with me and sit it on my nightstand and pause the movie when i have to go the the bathroom or get another drink. Insted of getting up and going to the computer. It saves me a step.

I agree.  Enter on the left hand side key would be great.

Greetings all....

This is this companies version or counter to the Naga. It just has more buttons and they are on the top. So now it looks like the race is on to see who can put the most buttons on a mouse. Mouse Wars II!

Be well all....

Me too when my laptop is in my lap and not at the docking station.   Then it's a 2 button optical (wired).

Wired is good- as I hate when batteries die.

I also use a pad with the wrist shelf- and often wear a brace. Funny thing- is my buddy gave me the mouse.  All the gadgets I paid good money for- and a casual gift works.

I highly recommend the mouse pad with the wrist elevation shelf.   (walmart has them)

I understand why the one in the pic has to be with a cord. With all those buttons it would burn through batteries in no time.

a mouse as big as a keyboard- then shrink the key board... and add a monthly fee for it.

LOL

I've got a Logitech MX 500, MX 518, and G500... They are all good mice, all have basically the same shape (which I love).. So yeah. I really like the G500, although personally I think the whole weight cartridge thing is silly... But nifty to have that there even if I don't care about it.

Fnord.
