ok as far as the thread, I would agree. If there is no relief, or chance of relief in sight, it is in human nature to just stop caring. If you arent ever going to get what you want anyway, why try.

Its the same theory as prisoners in for life sentences... if they dont see a way for things to get any better, and they cant get any worse, they just dont care. They have no reason to behave.

I have found that my enjoyment of being kept chaste (Mistress Lori tube with PA here) is directly proportional to the amount of frustration I experience... If my Lady has me pleasure her with a fair amount of frequency (every week or so) with some D/s play thrown in, I can go indefinitely until the world gets all hazy except for her and her pleasure. It can become almost a frenzy.

If on the other hand I'm locked up for more than a month without any play at all, I find myself getting resentful and quarrelsome... NOT a good thing. Intellectually I know I should endure it cheerfully and channel the energy in a positive direction, but too long in that condition without an attitude adjustment (punishment, etc) and I begin to fall apart.

I'm not sure if this is common, but it has been my experience.
