Just wanted to say I was a little disappointed that the last thread was locked by Video, but I also understand why. 

Hi Merc and beth, We got home safely.  I can not thank you both for a wonderful delicious weekend at your beautiful home.  I really hope this does not get moderated, because I did want to address the negativity.  I feel bad for you if you can not or will not; whichever the reason was, understand that my professional life would not have allowed me to go to their home if a web-cam was present.  I will say that had they chosen to do that I would not have hated them or thought any less of these two very classy people had they went the other route.  I would have wished I was there all the same and eagerly awaited the next sauree where the lovely LadyP and Myself could attend.

I got to meet two new friends and sit with old friends, and it still amazes Me that the similarities We all share and not the differences are what makes Us who We are, and each new person We meet is like finding an old friend.  I could not have asked for a better weekend then what We were so graciously allowed to share with all of these fine people.

I eagerly await the next one and this time We will drive out there after I get off work on friday night so We can get even more of the fine people who are always there.  Maybe next time We will get the others who couldn't attend there as well and keep building the bonds (all pun intended) We have come to share.

The only bad part about a party at Merc and beth's is when it's time to go home.  I already miss all of you!  We love you and couldn't imagine better friends.

Meeting Jeff and Carol (Leadership527) was like coming face to face for the first time with an old friend.  For anybody who doesn't know, Carol is absolutely beautiful and her smile is so warm and friendly.  I can see exactly why Jeff fell so in love with her. 

Since we're on the board first, I get to say it first.  Jeff doesn't get to say he's the token vanilla guy anymore!  Nope.  Nut-uh.  Not buying it.  LOL.

Michael still owes Me a breakfast that HE cooked.  This time, he gets a pass because who could blame him for taking the early morning to be with his gal?  Seeing them together put a smile on My face and it's good to see them happy.

Wyld, who absolutely can not impersonate a duck if you throw in the right kind of distraction, is gorgeous as ever, inside and out.  We might need to think again about that 'robe of protection' for her when sadists come up with these crazy ideas.  I wasn't sure if she was going to love Me or hate Me this morning.  LOL.

Beach and toy, it's always so good to see the two of you.  They clued Me in today how you got beth to get up from her nap.  I thought it was funny as hell.

You know, for anybody who wants to toss around the idea that there's a clique on these boards, I can promise you that it's not one.  These are all fantastic people who I'm sincerely grateful for knowing.  If you ever have the chance, meet them in person and you'll see exactly what I mean.

It sounds like you all had a slamming good time, and from over here (wayyyyyyyyyyy over here! [;)] ) the only thing to say is thank you for sharing your wonderful experience. Thank you, thank you! Such a delight to know that people are able to meet and get to know one another. I've always been jealous of the pic of beth at the side of the pool so free and open and full of in the moment joy! I imagine that was how the party was!

I love to read about the positive stuff....never enough of that, imo.   I'm glad everyone had a great time and it kind of makes me wish I was on the other coast...atleast for a weekend!

Well my own weekend seriously rocked, so I was only HUGELY envious of y'all, instead of enormously!! [:D] I hope I can make it out to Merc & beth's before they hightail it to the land of my thieving relations~

LOL! In my defense, a 1/2lb of melted wax on my bits and a pair of floggers to remove it is one HELL of a 'distraction'! The first time you asked, I wondered rather vaguely why I was supposed to duck, which tells you where my head was..... [:D][:D][:D]

This party definitely ranked up there with the infamous 'Orgy Noises' and 'Birthdaypalooza' bashes. Great people, great food, enough alcohol and jello shots to put most of PVE in a coma, fun conversation, awesome play, dress up in beth's closet, numerous photo ops, and deflowering the board's self proclaimed 'token vanilla'... what more could you want from a kinky bash?

I would like to single out one person who was not present for his contribution to the party:
LanceHughes, thanks SO much for the appetizer recipe you posted in Divi's thread! We tweaked it a bit (shrimp and crab, sour cream for 1/2 the mayo, added bacon), served it Saturday night, and there wasn't a piece left by lunchtime Sunday! Thanks for the yummy stuff, Lance! [:)]

As MisterP said, with most of the guests it was great seeing old friends again. Getting the chance to just hang out and relax with people you really like and respect, but don't get to see often enough, is a wonderful thing and one of the greatest joys in my life. Toss in a warm pool, hot play, large doses of alcohol, infusion, silliness, several cameras, and you have a weekend to remember!

Now for the newbies:
Jeff and carol. What can I say here but that they are amazing people and SO much fun to be around! From Jeff's 'pink hat of Domliness' to carol's 'topping from the bottom', it was a laugh a minute with these two great folks in the house (even though they stole my bedroom [;)] ). Of course, we probably should have told them that getting up at 8:30AM Saturday put them seriously behind the curve on both the jello shots and morning swim.... [:D]

Then there was LPslittleclip, who is another wonderful person I'm glad I got to meet this weekend. Often shy on the forums, clip is such fun in real! I can't really say much more than that he is one of the nicest, most helpful folks I've ever encountered, with a sometimes wicked sense of humor and a devotion to his Mistress that is lovely to see.
He also gives 'picky up' hugs, which is definitely a bonus! [:D]

So, ummm..... when are we gonna do this again???? [:)]

Y'all are most welcome for the recipe.  LP thanked me in private CM and now Wlyd in public.  I'm both honored and pleased.  Also pissed that I didn't/couldn't make it to the bash.

I don't like bacon myself, but I see where it might be fun to add it to the mix.....  Yeah, that's typical of this crowd.  Basic, solid play with each one adding their own "take" on things.

Don't care.  I win.  It only took three years but I finally got you to admit that there's at least one leather person out there who's not an asshole.  I win, I win, and I'm doing the happy dance.  Finger waving and all.  HA!

Thats not at all what I said. I mentioned any number of leather people I respect, my point was simply I respect them for the PERSON they are, not BECAUSE they identify as leather, hell there are Goreans who I respect too. But I do enjoy you and yours, I hope to see you up in my neck of the woods one day and would love to come down there and present with you, do a double header or something!

As far as presentations go, we could probably have some serious fun.  We might have to work on that idea.

i did enjoy the weekend tremendously i did miss the orgy noises but other that it was a wonderful time. it was fun for all who was there.  the food was wonderfully and so was the company. i only wish that i could have been able to stay longer.

MisterP, I'm right there with ya. My career trumps a webcam EVERY time, by far. If anyone doesn't understand about that, they're waaaay out of touch with reality.

I'm glad everyone had a blast! I've been out of state this year, but if I could get an invite for my slaveboy and I, we'd LOVE to make the next one!

Yes dreamer.... and the wonderful thing is that Merc and beth are the type of friends who will change the plans in a heartbeat to make sure W/we can all get together.... and it never disappoints when W/we do
