If they are left leaning libertarians there are many good things I could say about them... Believe in personal freedoms True libertarians believe in small economies.... or local economies... which is what I am for

You can always tell whether or not somebody's a laughably self important twerp by seeing if they piss themselves laughing when they try to read Atlas Shrugged Jerry Pournelle and David Drake provide a couple of SF writers so terrible that even fans of John Norman or Piers Anthony can look down on them.

I am not a libertarian... I do like social anarchism... Edited to add.... I have to post this because people are often unaware of how diverse these movements are Social anarchism, socialist anarchism,[1] anarcho-socialism, anarchist socialism[2] or communitarian anarchism[3] (sometimes used interchangeably with libertarian socialism,[1] left-libertarianism[4] or left-anarchism[5] in its terminology) is an umbrella term used to differentiate two broad categories of anarchism, this one being the collectivist, with the other being individualist anarchism. I'm a left leaning libertarian but I wouldn't say I'm an anarchist. I mean I might be down for the Neal Stephenson Snow Crash kind of Enclave Libertarianism but I'd still have reservations about it. I'm actually far too socialist for the capital-L libertarians.

I'm pretty clear on my own party philosophy. I just don't quite fit. At heart I'm a tribalist but that is not possible with communities of this size and scale.

Left leaning does not mean "central authority leaning". Also, Marx never advocated for a heavily authoritarian government either. Yes, I am speaking as an American, about American politics. The American left is about central authority and large bureaucracy even though most American liberals think it's all about "tolerance". As for your commentary on Marx, what he thought is immaterial, ultimately what he gave the world was a formula for tyrants to put a happy face on tyranny. (You know what they say about good intentions.)
