I love deeply and passionately when I do and have no trouble speaking my mind and owning the consequences. I am abrasive and I own that too but I feel that it is tempered by my willingness to be open and vulnerable here and expose myself to the same sort of microscope I focus on others. Clearly some appreciate that and others don't. I think you're taking her statement here too seriously, I think she was being facetious. It'll be ok, I promise.
