I recently changed my profile to say I wasn't looking for anything other than friends...and I have received more mail from folks of every persuasion than ever before.....its a weird, weird world

I think when you change your profile it again appears as a new profile. That could explain why you are getting lots of looks and mail. Many like to perv the newbies.
