I just happened to notice for the second or third time, in about as many days, a post announcing to the boards at large, what some bad bad member on the other side has done.

While any one, or all of them may have had very good intentions I seriously wonder if they gave even a moment's thought to the fact that we don't know them, and pehaps don't know the party they are flaming either. What sort of proof are they offering? Why don't they simply write to the site Administrator, or Moderators?

Is this a new fetish or something?

Hiya Mod Six! When I first received it I didn't know that you had it, although I knew you'd get it ultimately.

I confess, I didn't read every single line of the TOS when I joined the site, but I do make an effort to be within the rules of Social courtesy (I always leave a scented lace hankie behind when I visit the Master's Board ). I'm pretty sure though, that blatantly flaming other members is against them. lol

I really think that in most cases their intentions are good and want to warn others about a fake or or even dangerous person.

I wish I could agree Proud, but it seems like a lot of them are whining, then they get really nasty when other's don't agree with how *wronged* they have been. I also agree it comes in waves. I think I took my hiatus during the last bout because the boards were just not as worth it to me. Now, I am just more picky on what threads I take the time to read or reply to.

I'd like to agree with Proudsub also, but I'm more inclined to agree with you on this one. Moderator intervention aside, I don't believe that is the way to handle that type of situation, truthfully. It's sooooo easy to "spout" off, especially online, and then later realize that the information was all wrong. Or that it was all a misunderstanding, after the involved parties "work things out". Not to mention busting into a forum, virtually unknown to most everyone, Flaming someone in CAPITAL letters, who also happens to be unknown to most everyone!

It seems to me when someone makes a post like that it isn't so much to warn others, as it is to do damage to the target.

Ohhhhh heck I enjoy heckling a person whom writes ME crap now and then on My profiles board.............. that is, till My post gets turned down by the ADMINS on the other side then I of couse stick out My tongue at them and that gets accepted!! ( everyones gotta break a rule or two now and then) LOL so every time you see My tongue sticking out at the admins posted on My profile board area across the way you know I had a post that was turned down! I think they come to this side because the admins on the other side thurned down their post about the person they are speaking about and they get pissed and come here to post the info again.( I like writing Doms at times and tell them how I like or dont like what they wrote on their profiles,( One I told he used the word hate one to many times to discribe himself and he dident seem to get it. LOL) and I seem to always even when I write sumthing nice get negitive returns to such, I dunno whyyyy) If I feel that I have to warn sumone about a person you can best beleive Ill have em either strung up My self or call the cops to hold em and Ill be posting where you can send disgrace mail to em in the pokey instead!!
