Just watched "A Tale of Two Sisters" tonight.  I am not sure if I will be sleeping.

It is a psychological thriller / horror for those of you that are into that type of thing.   I am usually not.

It is a Japanese film. . . so you do have to read the subtitles.

It is worth the rental.

Best,

LaMalinche

Oh comeone now LaMalinche, Your gonna tell Me that dark humor scares You ? It was a very good storyline and its not Japanese but Korean for the record. It wasent that bad and Kim Jee-woon is a famous Korean Director that any who are into heterogenous genres films would know.

This would be a good post under the heading:

What has America done right?

The Korean Director was schooled in the USA. ~wink~

MistressDREAD,

Thank you for the correction.  That does explain why the house did not look Japanese.

And no, dark humor does not scare me, and I slept as well as usual.

It is those moments when you KNOW that something startling is going to happen, you are just not sure when, and so I get all tense waiting for it, and then of course I jump anyway.  All the while I and my friend are telling each other that something is gonna happen.

In someways it reminded me of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane."  That movie also had me saying "Whoa, that was creepy."  Not that the plot lines are similar.

Once angain, Thank You for the correction and information.

Best,

LaMalinche
