Are not cowards.  I think some of you got the wrong impression earlier. I love my country. And I'm damned proud of the way my country resonded on 9/11.

My point on those other threads was that it should not have come to that. Americans are not cowards...but for some people the fact that they do tend to interfere in other people's politics make us a target for every damned thing that goes wrong in this world.

We don't need that rep. I am reminded of a very old radio broadcast that goes back to the mid seventies. Gordon Sinclair.
He said it best and he was Canadian. I'm glad someone spoke up for us.

Just in case anyone is interested in reading Mr Sinclair's words:

http://www.tysknews.com/Depts/Our_Culture/americans.htm

A lot has happened since 1973. I wonder what Mr Sinclair would have to say now.

well having passed away in 1984 Im sure not much.................
but what a loveable, hateable, curmudgeon, and an icon of Canadian radio, television and news for many, many years. He always said precisely what he thought, regardless of popular opinion. RIP.

I'm aware Mr. Sinclair is dead. It was one of those pesky rhetorical questions.
