I am posing this question in the ask a mistress section because I am looking for a day to day collar for my sub. Do you have any ideas or experience to share? I make him wear a "pet collar" at home, but we are needing something for the day to day wearing that is not in your face fetish wear. The point being that we are more mature and don't need to look like we are dressing for a munch or just came from a fetish ball. Love seeing it on others, but it doesn't suit our demure selves. I like a simple gold or silver chain with a pendant such as handcuffs, the BDSM symbol or the Dominant's initials.

Along with the leather collar, clip also has an 'everyday' one. This is a simple silver necklace with a lock on it.

I couldn't find anything discreet for my slave either, so I made his out of silk beading cord and gemstones. I see this question come up so often that I started making them to sell. You can look in the Artisans section and the Sought or for sale section of collarchat and find many sources.

I've made 2 sets of beaded Master/slave necklaces that are fairly subtle. The slave's necklace uses a tiny (real) padlock as a clasp, while the Master's (in one case Mistress's) uses the same beads, a regular clasp, and has the keys to the lock clipped in the center like a pendant. There are pics on my fet profile, wickednwyld, if anyone would like to see them.

A belt. A plain, ordinary, solid leather belt. Black, preferably. Write or carve your initials on the inside of the leather, in a hidden place if there is one. Likely he will have to wear it almost every day and will handle it several times a day. It will be a constant reminder of his place. Ms. Betyt

a bracelet, or a ring also work and not noticeable to the nillas. for me as im a nurse and need to be able to remove it for sterility reasons like in surgery and such.

I got my sub a silver chain with a pink stone in silver. The stone for me and the pink for her.

Another possibility is an anklet chain - worked well for a male sub as it was hidden from general view under trousers/socks but very much there as a mini shackles! For my sub side Master and i designed a silver identity-style bracelet that has a gold v[A] in the centre of the design ... my identity as His collared sub. No one's asked awkward questions and i wear it permanently. Maam Jay aka violet[A] Edited to add: I have also used dog tags with the sub's name engraved on the front and My initials on the back - these can be worn on a simple chain or cord around the neck. Can even add "If found please return to ..." and no one will be totally sure if it refers only to the tags ... or to the wearer too!

I hate visible short chain necklaces on men, which I associate with short hairy jewish and italian men in male menopause [:'(]. OMG, bling floating on a sea of salt-n-pepper hamster pelts above the too-low V's of their loud shirts: eye-bleach, anyone? I like a torque [solid metal with a gap]; rather Celtic or Norse, depending on the decoration on the finials, but for more discreet wear, I've also used the ankle bracelet [teachers], and longer necklaces like medic-alerts with either military-style dog tags [for cop types], and canine-style ID tags, octagonal [lifeguard] or in the shape of a bone [croupier], as above with MY contact info ;-) under their uniforms. I also like the medic-alert necklaces for temperature play!
