I've had some luck with http://www.ecstagony.com/eng/info/artbond/tips.htm, they cover several different knots and how to apply them, and they use perfectly normal, understandable english, rather than the typical knot-jargon.

Have a look at Soulconnected

Lots of good pictures but maybe unreadible since it is in danish. But don't pictures tell a 1000 tales?

Kinky regards

Try 'The Erotic Art of Japanese Rope Bondage' by Midori.  It's a wonderful beginner book.  Many people also speak highly of Jay Wiseman's bondage book.  I've not read it, so I cannot give my opinion of it.

I do know that when last I saw her, Midori was planning a trip to Australia.  You might look up her website to see if that trip is still pending, and if so, if she'll be close enough for you to make it.

If you're looking at websites and pictures, remember that bondage isn't about knots, it's about paterns, and wrap and cinch. So don't get all caught up in fancy knots unless that's your specific interest.

not all the links work, but here is almost anything you need, except how to tie a hitch, a bowline and a square knot, pretty much the only knots I use.

Yeah, I need to give you the updated list of my own tutorial section at KinkyRopes. But I havent got them all up and running yet.

As to the original post, Honstly if you are just starting I wouldent fret over knots at ALL. Coil coil coil coil coil. Thats what erotic bondage is actualy all about. If you use knots at all (and yes, it is posible to do erotic bondage with a total of ZERO knots) you should only use knots so that they can keep your coils in place.

There are many ways to learn knot-tying.

1. Become a boy scout
2. Join the Navy
3. Go to a play party, find someone who knows what they're doing, and ask nicely
4. Go to a play party, find someone who knows what they're doing, and demand that they demonstrate (this probably won't work, but it's an option, you know?)
5. Hit up Amazon.com
