Feel free to continue if you wish, just be aware there will be numerous posters who will not be able to read your posts simply because of the font you choose to use.

Mom would have loved it and we all wanted to believe she was sitting up in the corner of the room in spirit laughing her ass off. She would have loved this place. I should have been back to this thread earlier. Sorry. I was............ busy. A couple of things for the record. I have not been told that My color was difficult to read. I have been told by a couple of posters that it is hard to QUOTE. The two people who have mentioned this to Me are not on this thread, so I'm not going to mention them by name. I've gotten far more complaints about the capital "M" thing, but darn near every person who has said that is distracting has managed and in spite of it has found something I've said at one time or another worthwhile. Just recently, I created a thread where I asked if I was really supposed to take some of this stuff seriously. It really was in reference to a troll but it did lead Me to going back and looking at the guidelines to the general forum. As of an update in Oct 2009, fonts and colors are specifically addressed. It really is different than when I signed up here. Had it been that way when I started posting here three years ago, I might see it differently. As it stands, I don't. There's something else that I want to say about this particular thread subject. (The real one, not the stuff that has come up since the thread has drifted.) If you came to these boards to ask a question that you could have found the answer to by reading a copy of SM101, yes you are lazy and don't bitch because you got tagged for not doing your own research. The fact that you couldn't get off of your ass, do a little reading on your own initiative, and came here to ask the most elementary of questions isn't My fault. There are other people on these boards that have far more patience than I do in these matters. I will tell you to do some of your own work and not have all of the answers handed to you on a silver platter. This isn't AA and the newcomer isn't the most important person in the room. If you don't at least yank a bit on your own bootstraps, I'm not going to coddle you and try to explain within the limitations of a message board everything I've learned in over a decade. It thrills Me to no end to help out folks who want to be involved in BDSM. At the same time, I'm not here to hold someone's hand who isn't willing to do some of this on their own. I'd much rather invest My time on those who are willing to learn, rather than those who want to be spoon fed.

Your font is a little difficult but there used to be a poster who used a lighter pink. But at least yours is a normal size font. QSM's bold is oversized and I for one am not willing to move back three feet to be able to read it. The lenses implanted in my eyes are set for reading at 20". If someone chooses a font that requires sitting farther back or closer to the computer than that, I frequently just skip them.
