I said before in other threads that the law is not for everyone and you can't fight City Hall. I learned a long time ago they do whatever they want. This story really doesn't do much for me after all the discrimination and injustice black people have had to deal with.

The Bush Justice Department brought the first case against three members of the group, accusing them in a civil complaint of violating the Voter Rights Act. The Obama administration initially pursued the case, winning a default judgment in federal court in April 2009 when the Black Panther members did not appear in court. But then the administration moved to dismiss the charges the following month after getting one of the New Black Panther members to agree to not carry a "deadly weapon" near a polling place until 2012.

This non-story isn`t new.The cons have been trying to bat this into the news for months.This is just a stunt.

There`s no new news.None.Nothing`s changed as far case goes. Except for the bushie pushing the case, quiting.

Big whop.Yawn.

Now what do you call it when a bunch of conservative political operatives, push a bogus story of racism in the Obama administration.Using all the hot buttons,armed black men,Black Panthers,back Attorney General,etc.,and those images of angry,scary black men.And the leap that because they are all black,the AG cutting the Panthers a break.

That`s the definition of race baiting.This is as disgusting as it gets.

These are the kinds of dirty tricks cons need to do.This is what racists do and what racists repeat.

The other hallmarks of con dirty tricks this story has:........ preposition that the story is true(see ACORN/climate change emails),that the main stream media is ignoring the story(see conspiracy nuts) and the over-reach,that because this little bushie quits the AG has to step down.

Going forward, there is only one acceptable course of action for similar events. Citizen arrests, followed by private civil suits. When the government will not enforce the law, citizens must. (See: Arizona, immigration)

It will be the next time Sir Nose D'void OfFunk starts trying to intimidate the residents in Chocolate City into not voting. As I recall there was a lot less fuss over Bush's GOP spreading ludicrous scare stories to keep the blacks away from the polls a couple of times than there was over the current storm in a teacup. Then there's all of the fuss from the GOP over Acorn's evil agenda of encouraging those Americans who aren't likely to be invited to join a golf club to vote as well.
For some reason the GOP doesn't seen to like the notion of black people voting. Can't imagine why that should be.
So in brief: white racism is always excusable, if you happen to be a Republican. Great, isn't it?
