At Barnes & Noble, they do not even keep "Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns" in stock. i had to order it to be delivered to my home via UPS (the store clerk took my order & neither of us was sure of which section it might be in so she asked what the topic was about so she could search the store's computer. She looked up at me confused and in a loud volume yells across the aisle to me, "BSM-whaaaat??" So, i replied, "No, not BSM ... it's B-D-S-M.". Then she asked me what the letters stand for. Geeez ... [:)] . It was very entertaining to see her reaction when i supplied her with the answer. But, yes ... most books on the topic of BDSM are located right by the selfhelp books. i now know this because i purchased "The Story of O" at Barnes & Noble recently. Makes sense to me though ... when i purchased "Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns" it was on the idea of "Geeeeeez ... i need some help in bringing this all together in a more organized and vivid perspective of understanding, plus i had questions needing answering so that i could 'help myself' decide on a few things etc.
