Hi all,
I've pretty much been a lurker around here since I'm so shy but I'd just thought I'd post some thoughts.
My husband and I are newbies to bdsm and kink in general. I've had kinky feelings for a long time but I haven't explored any of them until about a year ago when I got the confidence to tell my husband about some of my desires.
Well, his reaction was fairly predictable for a "vanilla" guy. He was surprised and very hesitant, and I think a little nervous about the whole thing.
But the more we talked the more open he became. It's been a very slow process but after a year he's starting to think of ideas for play on his own.
I'm topping from the bottom less and less now and he's becoming more and more creative[:)] I doubt we'll ever be in the lifestyle 24/7, but bedroom bdsm suits us just fine.
I just thought I'd share that with time and patience and the right person, the vanilla to kink transformation can indeed happen.
