Got the usual "I'm a bank manager in the UK, blah blah blah, need a foreigner to stand surety for this huge amount of money, and you get to share it" Nigerian scam solicitation on my account here. Decided to have some fun in addition to giving a heads-up to the CM staff. This was my reply. Let's see what he has to say when I turn the conversation as filthy and perverted as possible. If I can get picture trophies off of him, I'll post them. "You realize that since you are a male submissive on CollarMe, I will expect you to furnish proof of your submissive status. I will need a picture of you getting fucked in the ass with a bundle of British bank notes before I can send you any money. Can you comply?"

He can't do that because he wont have access to Brithish bank notes... You should have asked for something more realistically, you probably would have gotten it. Scambaiting is a fine sport I often enduldge in. Many people do; some people even make it into what can almost be descibed as an artform. http://www.thescambaiter.com/ is a GREAT site to check out for ideas if the CM scammers are annoying you.

I am soooooo glad I read this thread before checking My mail again. Guess what was there? I do promise that I gave credit where it was due and asked him if he fucked himself with the bank notes yet as per your request. LOL.

In order to successfully bait this guy, I'd have to spend a lot more time dangling good bait (eg, set up a gmail account and make up some fake info). I don't really have time to do that before he gets kicked off of CM, so I doubt I will get any trophies off of this one. Mostly I wanted to make it clear to this waste of space that when you bother people on an adult site, you better be prepared to play in our playground. Most lads are actually surprisingly shy about this kind of thing; it's not really part of their culture. If others in the cybercafe see them looking at fetish pictures, especially gay ones, they can apparently get into some real trouble with their peers. I think I'll send him a copy of Goatse and Tubgirl and tell him those are my favorite sex positions. Or maybe that these are scans of my personal bank information so he will be sure to download them. Anyone have other lovely ideas?

Scambaiter is an amazing site. Butch Driveshaft and his freight baits will always be legend. For those not familiar with the freight baits, the scammers try to order multiple laptops with phony credit cards. "Butch" sends them other things, like 25 year old ovens, with the DHL air freight and customs duty billed to the scammer. When they complain, he apoligizes profusely - and then sends them a matching washing machine, also freight and duty collect. Repeat as needed. Back when I had more time, I helped them write some code that automatically engages in extended "conversations" with the scammers. If they have a script to deal with you, it is easy enough to write some PERL to answer their script. While it is not as much fun as collecting trophy photos, it sure does keep them busy so they can't be scamming other people.
