~FR~
I consider myself a submissive, not a slave. "Slave" sounds scary to me. Although I don't make a point of saying I make one choice at the beginning of a relationship to obey Him & give up any subsequent ability to choose, at the beginning of a relationship I have still chosen to do whatever He tells me to and I continue to keep doing so for the duration of the relationship. I say I am a submissive rather than I act submissive. I still am a submissive, regardless of whether I'm in a relationship or not. So what's the difference between the two? I say it's just whatever the people in the relationship say it is. Just for the record, the slave vs. submissive question is as old as the hills and will probably never be answered to everyone's satisfaction.

Do you have 'gone pear-shaped' for 'gone wrong' out there in the colonies?  I haven't a clue where that expression came from.

Tonnes of things.  Like, whether what they're doing is properly dominant or submissive, or not.  That's crucial, that one.  A fringe benefit is that the more time they spend here talking about their relationships, the less time they'll have to balls them up.

And hasten the buildup of mystery and inevitable fireworks when the big day appears? Never!

Sometimes! If they are a sub/dom switch as opposed to a top/bottom one. See how handy these labels are?
