I think you misunderstood me Willbe. What I meant was when the POTUS is of one party and Congress (house and senate) are controlled by the other. We were saying the same thing 2 different ways. No, I understood your point just fine. I was showing that in fact things have been better under (the infrequent) Republican controlled Congress regardless of the party of the POTUS. When it was Democrat control with a GOP POTUS things were still shit.
