Are you aware that a minority of people have (genetically, from birth) taste buds that detect bitterness in compounds found in many (especially green) vegetables, which most of us cannot taste at all? To those people, most vegetables really do taste bad. Thank goodness I am not one of them. You will never convince such a person to like vegetables, and they no doubt have baggage left over from parents that tried to force them to eat things that, to them, tasted horribly bitter. Before you undertake a campaign to introduce vegetables it might be helpful to find out if your BF has this genetically enhanced taste. If they do, focus on getting them to eat fruit, rather than vegetables.
