Status: offline 		The public pools I swam in as a kid would have banned you for the summer long before the rowdiness got near that point.

How about closing the pool for two weeks, and letting the community know exactly which kids caused it, and who their parents are?

Pools and water are fucking dangerous.Any body of water,really.No amount of horse-play,dunking,pushing or anything is ok.A zero tolerance policy is the only way to go.

I would go farther that banning the perps for the season.Banned forever is better,after facing juvenal justice.

The collective punishment is a bit extreme tho.Just target the perps.

Exactly right, Tazzy. We have become a society that caters to the worst elements of our culture. That's why I suggest closing the pool for a "review of safety procedures and regulations," and if the city lawyers won't allow naming names, have a city councilman give an off-the-record briefing to the press corps and leak a few emails to the local bloggers.

And no, I don't condone the assault.  But "I didn't know a colony of Silverback gorrilas was in Buffalo. I thought the chimps did not like the cold. Of Course, no pictures will be shown of the savages who attacked the White lifeguard" was one of the milder comments.

The guy has no manners.    I did not think I would ever block anyone here.  because most of us are able to get along with others.


I should have blocked him a few months ago.
