That's beautiful! That has always been my MO in prior relationships, but I find myself with someone who wants an anniversary date, but our relationship has been so fluid, it's hard to figure out what that might be.

We celebrate our first face-to-face date. We had corresponded via cmail and email, spoken and even "dabbled" on the phone a bit, but it was the first time I laid eyes on Him that I knew. (Oh, yeah. Great memory. I knew it was real because when I first saw Him walking towards me, I almost fell to my knees in the restaurant bar. He radiated across the room.)
We also mark, but not officially, the first time He told me He loves me. I think He was more surprised that He fell in love than I was!

I think there's still some confusion here. Your anniversary is the anniversary of what? The first time you met? The first time you played? When you were collared?
