Another way they tell how long a person is dead is by the presence of certain insects, flies, mainly.  One in particular and I can't remember which one, but a fly will lay its eggs in the corpse, the eggs turn to larvae, the larvae grow to adulthood, so depending on what stage of life the insect is in, they can tell how long the person has been dead.  There are several methods for determining time of death, though.

Just had a Hand Job from a Quadrapelegic......

Okay now THAT was just ODD.

He kept asking me what the hell I thought I was doing.....

Then the elevator door opened, I thanked him Tipped him but informed him I didn't think I would be returning to work the next day.

Ahh this is one of those riddles I don't get similar to:

A man jumped through a tenth floor window and survived uninjured...how? He was a window cleaner and jumped into the building.

Why would a window cleaner jump into a building, don't they just normally clean windows?

Ok, my oddest job is the one I do now; phone fetish mistress. It's fun and the pay is decent as well.

From ages 19 to 22 I was the North Jersey director of accounts receivable for a nice gentleman based in Staten Island who provided investment opportunities in the outcome of sporting events.

That is just beautiful.

I spent a few of my younger years as an Horticulture Import specialist.

I also once lead and Irish setter to the alter. I was a tragic mistake

We all have done various types of work.

Name a position that you did that was un-usual or of note.

I worked for UPS delivering packages one xmas while on break for school. It was not easy work and the uniforms sucked, but the driver I had was REALLY hot...so it was worth it!

Are you Serious?

I ask because same ages I did the same thing in Vegas for a Man, whose name I was informed shouldn't ever be said too loud.

It was Great Money.... I sometimes have Bad dreams about that time in my life though.

If you are Serious, It's nice to know.

Yep, I'm serious.  It was ridiculous money.  Especially when your only marketable skills at the time were landscaping, painting houses and bartending.

You sure do learn a shit load more about human nature than in any college Psych course.

What nightmares?

I fully agree. The Money was something that I look back on and wished there was a similarly easy way to gather with the same effort we put into making it. It was nice.

The Human Nature will actually come to disgust you, in the 4 years that I did it never once was I dissapointed that someone would do WHATEVER it took to not have to deal with me. Lie, Cheat, Bribe, and sell out anyone just to not have me do what I came to do.

As to the Nightmares they are rare, but in doing what the job discription called for, sometimes things got ugly. When things got Ugly, this meant that payment was never going to be aquired. And you know how one collects on an uncollectable debt.

Sometimes it still sits unwell with me.

At 15 I was very skinny and had not had my height spurt yet. My first job was at an asbestos factory. My job was to climb into the crusher machines and clean the fibrous asbestos out of the greased gears. The boss would stand by the on off button to assure no one accidentally turned it on. Later I found out that a worker was killed the previous month when someone turned it on while he was inside.

Another wierd job I had.  I worked on a tropical fish farm.  5 acres of ponds, tanks and vats and about 150 species of African Cichlids.

willbeurdaddy -> RE: What was the oddest job you had? (7/20/2010 8:29:11 PM)

I burned pajamas.

Seriously.

I tested batches of flame retardant chemicals to ensure that they met Federal safety guidelines.

Another wierd job I had when I was in grad school.  Golf ball diver.

I guess my oddest job was the one that required I glove up, and shove my finger up someone's ass to assist in their bowel movement. It made me really appreciate how changing adult diapers beat the alternative.

reynardfox -> RE: What was the oddest job you had? (7/22/2010 12:29:54 AM)

I used to work with lions, feeding, grooming, cleaning the enclosures etc, for a man who kept and trained them for circuses. I had to go in with them all the time. I got very fond of them, the males just wanted to play all the time but I was never able to turn my back on the girls. They were very comfortable and really laid back as they were spoiled and kept busy. It was a good time as I always looked forward to what they were like on any given day, the owner went to America with them. I was in my teens at the time.
Before I got married, I ran two strip clubs, which involved teaching girls how to perform as the professionals were very expensive and hard to find. I enjoyed that and got really into choreographing the sets, some of the girls became good friends and I still see them. I was a fairground fortune teller for a few years, which was well paid, but I never had so much sex in my life, it was like being the most popular ride on the fair!

twistedwillow -> RE: What was the oddest job you had? (7/22/2010 7:00:03 PM)

My current, and oddest, job is as a pet cremator.
I love it, and plan\hope to be doing it for many years to come.

Besides the basic cremation, I also exhume if needed.
