Why didn't I check it out..well obviously because I believed it to be true, do you double check everything you believe to be true before you post? Nope, neither do I. When I was informed of my error I apologized and moved on and added to my understanding of the organization in question, much like anybody would. The language is obviously provocative but I get what the guy's trying to say...it takes on two totally different meanings depending on if the guy who wrote it was black or not.

Well, Elisabella, I can certainly see it from your POV, except for the fact that I have never heard a black person use "Sambo" as an adjective. Nor have I ever heard a black person refer to the slavery era as "the good ol' days down South".

Black people make amazing music, it is their gift the Universe. They always have and they always will.

Although slavery sucks ass into the future they really did make the most eerie and funky amazing songs. The beats, rhythms are heart stoppingly good.

I've heard similar language and imagery in spoken word and poetry. It's hard to just look at text without context.

Yes, figured that was where you were going. So, I am assuming that you think any organization that bases itself on color/creed/nationality is somehow painted in a bad light. Then every advocacy group in the world falls into this category. If you feel you need to be that much of a purest so be it. You don't see the need to take into consideration the relative amounts of power each group may or may not have. I see that. So I am assuming you are writing your MP daily telling him to retake Nunavit since it is clearly a Racist Province.
