OK, now that I've read the rest of the posts.... I must admit, I really laughed when reading wrong thread Welcome to CM. You're funny and that's a great quality around here IMO. I realize you're probably not interested in making the wimmins laugh but I'm sure enjoying you. [:)] While all the D types are pretty dang wonderful around here, my SIR is the best, so you can try for 2nd place.

Jean says I have to leave. She runs the coffee shop in town. I'm using her WI-FI, but she closes at 10 PM, but she let me stay while she cleaned up.

If he's two hours to Cheyenne, he's another 90 minutes (a little less) to Denver. So 5 hours total round trip to visit me! Maybe DarkSteven and I can give him what? a couple of hours of helpful hints and then back he goes to the ranch or whatever. DAMN! There MUST be a D-type between here and there. Talking out loud = doh! How does he get to talk to the D-types in Cheyenne? That's his closest known resource.

On that part, we definitely agree, though I'm not especially sure I wouldn't call it a "good" munch. From the sound of it, people were friendly and were even willing to allow somebody who had never tried it before to play. There's not a thing wrong with that if people are willing. Heck, if people at the munch he attends accept his self proclamation as "master", so be it. If he makes a fool out of himself by claiming the title, even better because somebody there will set him straight. He'll take his lumps for being presumptuous and arrogant and then he'll pick himself up, close his mouth and open his ears. He won't be the first person who starts out that way and it's not going to hurt him any more than it did anybody else.

I think the two subbies held out a reward (of continued <?> sex) if he'd learn to be a Master. I don't think he was self-proclaimed at the munch. I think they led him on to come here saying that, just so they could f*ck with him. I think he's pretty naive, and wants to learn and just got off here on the wrong foot. As I said, I was just about to suggest he start over with a different user name. I'm guessing a Cheyenne Wyoming munch doesn't have the numbers nor joint experience that some of us enjoy. Maybe a "twue" Dom/Domme woulda/coulda/shoulda said "Oh, shit. There's those subbies playing with the new guy. When will they stop that?" and GRABBED our fellow away. Short version: I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Doesn't cost much to do so, does it?

I think the two ladies in Cheyenne are leading you on. At the next munch, try to talk to some other Dominant types rather than talking to some submissive women. You can get some help from the other Dominant-types even if they are women. You seem to want to learn and, guess what? we all started out with exactly ZERO knowledge, just like you! (At least you found a munch!) It takes years and years to become a Master. Yes, flogging is the easiest skill to learn. But, there's a whole lot more to being a Master than to call yourself one and IMHO (which stands for "in my humble opinion") it has to do more with relationships than with technical skills. BUT that's a constant debate around here. There's lots of strings and thread about all these topics. I suggest you hang around without commenting and just read for awhile (that is called "lurking" and there's nothing wrong with that.) YOu can avoid the Politics & Religion forum.... that's for just that. Not really any info on BDSM. Someone else will suggest using the search function up above on right, but it's hard to know what to search for at the beginning. Always feel free to ask a question.
