I'd say it is "In the meantime" by Spacehog....something Bowiesque about it and the guitars crush

Push The Little Daisies by Ween.

It wasn't really a hit and I wonder about that, but it was fun in a screaming not really a song way...

How about groups or singers that we wish were one hit wonders---

The whole Dummy album by Portishead. They came, they sang, they left.

I loved "Waiting for a Star to fall".....don't remember who did it, they were that much of a flash in the pan!

AC/DC was in no way, shape or form a one-hit wonder.....Loved them!!!!

lemme see:
40s - "Salt Peanuts," Charlie Parker
50s - hard to think of one RN, but there were lots to choose from. I'm leaning towards saying Jiles Perry Richardson...
60s - easy. Jimi Hendrix - he only had one song chart, "All Along The Watchtower"
70s - "Love Will Tear Us Apart," Joy Division
80s - "Safety Dance," Men Without Hats
90s - "Your Woman," Whitetown

What's interesting in this: there's lots of people who are highly influential, yet never had "chart success." I doubt there's an electronic act out today that hasn't had some influence by the rest of the Men Without Hats album... but what are they known for?
