I've noticed a few Persian slaves /submissives on this site, but not that many.
Is BDSM a new fashion in the Persian and Arab countries? Or has it been around for awhile, but just too dangerous to express locally?

But really, when you think about it. What countries were known for keeping slaves back in the BC? Egypt. Persia. Other rich middle eastern countries like that.
Can someone tell these countries that it is now 2010AD?

All I know is every Persian woman I met I could have easily assumed they were a Domme, All of the ones I met were forceful and dominating to everyone around them.

Depends on how you respond to those pushing your limits of just go away if they don't know and only have an opinion.

Your question is simple yet complex all the same. The answer will be largely influenced by adherence to Islam and if the individual was raised according to those tenets and still practices them. Unless the family has completely westernized itself and shunned all aspects of the culture and its expectations, you're seeing the exception not the rule. I developed a friendship with a Persian girl years ago. She wasn't a paragon of virtue and did things that could get her head lopped off if her parents knew. You have to keep in mind the ideas about preservation of her virtue and the fact that arranged marriages still exist. My friend was 23 and far older than most without being attached or having an understanding in place. It was a source of contention between herself and her parents in all truth.

In terms of BDSM, I would look at it from an exchange of power or better yet a head of household dynamic instead. There's no confusion about who that is, but the woman is pretty steely herself. She orchestrates their lives and screens potential suitors for her daughters. Some families allow the girl to make her own selection and present him or be involved in the process. It's a lot like looking for a job and fanning out resumes. But I suppose they're cutting to the chase and alleviating the possibility of an errant selection. Divorce is still frowned upon.

The single women you're encountering may be bucking the trend. She did but that didn't go on forever. They presented her with an ultimatum -- choose or we'll choose for you. The ideas regarding premarital sex still exist. That's one of the reasons procedures like hymen repair are growing in popularity. Who do you think is paying for it? I would look at their presence as fringe and be very careful about entertaining them outside of casual situations. Familial expectations are severe and excommunication is a real possibility.

For what it's worth my friend was curious about the lifestyle and interested in women as well. But I consider that her adventurous side and she was plagued with guilt and conflicted through it all. I think she found a happy medium and I was able to help her where her parents were concerned, but being on here would be quite a big leap. Not to mention the fallout of being caught. I am not Persion, lol quite the opposite, but I've very forceful and dominating to those around me. It is my Master and my Master alone that I completely bow down to. Maybe they are getting off the same way I do

i think that is a little harsh. in general, i dont find middle eastern women to be attractive, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and thus im sure many of them dont find americans to be attractive either.
