Voodali -> RE: Rant of sorts....pussified men (7/19/2010 12:27:33 PM)

Curiously, the only blatantly alpha male I can think of right now is gay. Show tune singing gay. He takes the lead as well as all the responsibilities and stresses that go with it. Even I (who really don't do well with "authority") will often follow him because he was elected to be the focal point for a group, and a group needs that or it will fall into chaos. But his style is soft, diplomatic and convincing. The only person he tells to sit down and shut up is his sub, who gets off on it. There seems to be a shortage of hetero alpha males, though. I don't want one, and find myself instantly unattracted to anyone who tries to alpha me (thus the fact that I'm scouring the internet and other places for the pussified boy of my dreams), but a lot of my sub and even vanilla friends do. A lot of women of my acquaintance naturally fall into the position of leader, whether they want to or not. they seem to have a very clear idea of what they want (like clean counters, errands done,or to attend a social function with the male in tow and attired properly), and they tend to have to manipulate or verbally beat this into the more passive, boyish, video-gaming male partner. A lot of these women tell me that they wish their partner would sometimes stand up to them, tell them to be quiet, take charge, make decisions, plan dates, etc. I think that alpha males may be in short supply. Maybe that's because we're not wolves.
