Hi A/all,

This started as a journal entry, but thought i'd ask around:  how do Dominant women feel about slavery as a way to get a career going?  As in "Beat me through Med School" or something?  i never see it in a profile, but it seems like such a natural fit.  Certainly, i definitely feel that a slave should be happy to second a Domme in her career, secretarial work and what have You, but how do You feel about "If that assignment isn't completed by the deadline, slave will get such a thrashing."

Self-indulgent, or a more perfect slavery?  Oh, and assume You'd get any of the money it produces, just as a measure of respect and service.

Um well...

I got my start in real time kink by keeping my first boyfriend from flunking out of school with the aid of a thick wooden ruler.

And a few years ago I helped someone through business school using similar methods.

So it can happen and does sometimes work.

Not sure how common it is, though.

Many lifestyle Domme's do help our subs in that manner when they are in school or working to advance their career.  Also there are professional Disciplinarians (No not pro-dommes) they discipline only and do it for real offenses.  Clients come to them when they have behaviors that are having a negative impact on their lives and they want discipline and punishment (without the kink or sexual overtones) to pay for their actions and help remind them not to repeat the actions.

Hi Lady Cimarron,

You know, Your comment suggests to me that i was right to see my attitude as selfish rather than sharing.  Maybe this is less being-all-the-slave-for-You i can be and more seeing a Domme as a coach.... which says something about how i see other elements of a Lifestyle relationship.

There is some vulnerability in all this, but i have to think more about the needs and wants of my (prospective) partner/owner.
