Hey OP, if you don't like the negative or silly-ass profiles, it's quite easy, bypass the damn things. I go thru profiles just to see the funny, the absurd, the scary and the ridiculous. If I started a thread even once a MONTH about what I'd seen, I'd still be at it. The hide and block buttons are your friends. Make use of them and move on. Now wasn't that easy?????? [8\|] And if someone tries to scam you for money, that's what the report button is for. Use it wisely. This is the internet, everyone who's practically anyone can now get a computer, the internet and post whatever their little heart desires. It's most defiinitely not just this site, far from it. So get over it, get out there and meet real people at munches and such and it'll make your life so much easier.

OP - yes, there are ridiculous profiles out there, sometimes with ridiculous people attached. I still remember receiving a master's long list of prerequisites that went from small and specific like a half dozen pairs of red ankle socks to big ticket bondage equipment items. It's really best to just to laugh them off and pass by, and not let your experience of them contaminate your opinion on dominant women in general.

Heh. The best one I ever saw was by a UK 'Domme'. She said that she would take a man and steadily destroy him. He'd be just a robot once she'd finished with him - his ego would be trashed, his very soul will have been swallowed by her. Her picture showed a very young, tiny and affable looking woman, cute as a button. Utterly, completely incongruous. I wrote to her saying only, 'Didn't I teach you for Geography at school at one time?' Never got a reply, though.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, VC, but it it doesn't change my feelings nor my opinion of the Domme in question. I get what you're trying to achieve by invoking the 'who are you to judge what other people get off on' line, but it doesn't wash. It doesn't matter to me what people get off on, so long as it isn't ultimately dangerous.
