I can't believe it, but I'm fascinated by this guy's talk...

I just spent 17 minutes listening to a lecture on chair design. Can't help but feel the time could've been better invested.

I want that chair and yes I watched the whole thing.

I thought that was charming.  He is so invested in his topic.  I mean how many people think that much about angles and such?  I loved his process... the sexiness of pilots to making everybody's life better.  Really lovely.

I love watching thought processes unfold, sunshine.

(I really enjoy the TED talks and had not seen that one before.)

Thanks! [:)]

DarlingSavage -> RE: Redefining how we sit... (7/19/2010 9:31:26 AM)

I'm glad I read this first.  I don't want to hear about a chair.  I'd rather wait for the commercial.  Now, if you come across something on GIS, let me know.

FR

I am in process of getting all the shit it takes to play the videos yall throw up here. For some reason this didn't work.

But I will say this, I used to have back problems. I don't now.

I do not recline. I do not even sit back in a straight backed chair. If you look at the driver's seat in my car it is set to about a 90 degree angle. That is the only time pretty much that my back even touches a chair back. I have redefined at least, how I sit. I am getting old and don't lift too much anymore, and if I do get a backache it is gone in a day or two. However I fell on a log last week or so and am dealing with that, it was REALLY hard. They use therm "Falling off a log" but I am here to tellya, falling on a log is much worse than falling off a log. This is from personal experience.

I do not recline, rarely do I sit back even in a straight backed chair. Now my back is one of the things I really don't have a problem with, and I have a Lazyboy wallhugger recliner. Know where it is ? I threw it in the basement because I never use it.

Ask Shorebound, the chairs I prefer are like office chairs. If I can't sit, I will lay down, for better or worse. That's just the way I am.

My question now, is that now I have installed a shitload of media things, extensions, options and so forth, why the hell wouldn't it show me that video ? It was at wimp.com, I have speakers now and the latest flash player.

If anyone has the answer either mail me, or better yet start a thread on all the shit we need to properly view these videos and all that. I have been reluctant to upgrade, and I still intend to stick with IE6 at least for now. I simply don't like the newer versions. But it works everywhere else so what am I missing ?

My brother gave me a $700 computer chair.   I use it alot.    My old dog was with she was mad at me on the way home from Chicago- all the way to Toledo. As she wanted the back seat.  lol.

I like the chair.  I can sit on it alot.

For someone who uses seating alot-  car - van seating is neat.  it is sturdy.  I have a couple of van seats- they too are comfortable.

I read the title and thought this thread would deal with spanking...

That's because you're a man with your head in the gutter... when it really should be right here.  [sm=shake.gif]
