Arg i'm throughly pissed off.  Fine line between doing the right thing and being manipulated and it really sucks that no matter your best efforts you're thrown in that line. And i've decided to just shake my head and move on

Anger can be a very healthy emotion. Sounds like you are using your anger to mobilize you out of an untenable situation.

Fine lines?  Oh geez, here i was all ready to recommend a good serum and eye cream.  i've got to stop thinking everyone is aging (like me).

At least you saw it for what it was and didn't succumb to the manipulation.  There's nothing like ignoring that little inner voice, then regretting it later.

.....an idea stolen wholesale from Pratchett, but nonetheless relevant perhaps.....

the fine lines are where decisions are made, and as humans we are decision making animals. Not all decisions go the way we plan them to, but that should not deter us from the fine lines, far from it, we should celebrate our willingness to choose. Our desire to be truly human.
That is not to say that there isn't pain and frustration involved, but thats not the real point. They're inevitable, it's our response to it that is important.

Hey,

Well even though i was sure i was right, i took the precautions of being wrong as no matter how sure you are there is still always a margin of error.  Which of course i turned out right!  (of course lolz)  Unfortunetly, my taking the steps to do the right thing, got the manipulator what she wanted, but hey when it comes down to it, i might of let you win the battle but i sure as hell will win the war.  Damn skippy!  The only reason she got what she wanted was because i wasnt going to do something i considered a a major consequence if i was wrong.  So i did the right thing, but not of course the thing she wanted!  (but she got that later, out of my unwillingness to take a major chance on whether i'm right or not)  But she's still got consequences of my right action.  Ha!  As i made sure everyone knew excatly what i thought was going on, but didnt want to take the chance i was wrong.  i got to say i told ya so LOLOL

And then of course i put my foot down and said this isnt happening again.  Nor will she EVER speak to me again.  As far as i'm concerned she doesnt exsist anymore.  i dont do games.  i dont do bs <sigh> but if i have the unfortunate experience of running into some one that is, i make sure i win the war.  i can play games with the best of them and manipulate with the best of em.  i just happen to think its wrong and know its not for me to live my life that way.  i want a "real" life.  LOLZ on the word real.  Two wrongs dont make a right, but i feel if they're going to fight dirty no way in hell will i fight clean and get my butt whupped!

Aaaaaaaaaaah though i do feel good about being right = )  And i do feel good winning the war as i have assuredly done = )  As it wont EVER happen again!
