my reaction is because i detest seeing people taken advantage of.

I do agree it is a kink for many, and go for it if it involves doing the dishes, mopping the floors, vacuuming, etc. But the op did not say she is looking for someone to do housework...did she? She said "projects" and my suspicion is those projects are pretty damn difficult
