I am not getting the issue with the age thing either. She looks like she is at least my daughters age, 35. What struck me is that she is asking here in ask a master. That to me suggests that she is looking for a white knight to offer his castle for a while.
If it is a kid, which I doubt... it looks like she got over her immediate need for a place. Or perhaps the parents took away the computer.
And when I was a kid, I DID know there were places to go, or had friends I could hide out with for a bit. That was AGES ago. I would imagine kids these days are probably well schooled about their options.
