Himself's vacation starts August 9th and we leave for the USA (San Jose, California) on August 14th returning to Italy August 24th which gives him time to recover from being around my family for 10 days before he has to be back at work on August 30th. Actually, we'll probably pass out when we get there and sleep the first day since it's 26 hours door to door from here to there with the layover in Germany. We are planning two days in Lake Tahoe so call it an even week with my family. Not sure if I should pray for them or pray for him as I'm not one who generally pray's at all.. but I think some praying will be in order for someone. Maybe I should pray for me! ::chuckles::

I don't know if your doctor will do it, but the last time i flew to New Zealand, i took an ambien leaving LA for the 12 hour flight to Auckland. Unconsciousness definitely enhances the flying experience! In fact , i can go so far as to say, it made it semi-bare-able. I took on on the return trip and one when i landed in Little Rock, to help me get over the jet lag. Better living through chemistry!!!!! and have a great time, and be sure to schedule time for you and Himself away from the family. lol.

If it would please Himself, Bita, I would ask that you deliver a message. It would bring Me a great joy should I and My family have the opportunity to say hello during your stay. While not in the proper of San Jose, I am sure something can be worked out. We would love to travel to meet you.

I will pass that along, LadyP. I had already asked Himself about, perhaps, finding a munch or something while we are there so as to meet with friends old and new and he already said yes to that so I'm going to be doing my research. Meeting you and yours would be one of the highlights of the trip, I'm sure. :)

I haz a sad, I will be NOWHERE near you!!! And I will be nowhere near Italy, Home of My Thieving Relations, either. Sigh. Have a GREAT trip home!

I had to see where you were Lady Hib to see if it was at all possible for a trip in the future! Alas, we are mainly coastal folk with my family on the west side of the country in CA and Himself from the east side - New York, Bronx to be specific. Most of the trips we take will be to one of the two coasts and I'm sure New York will be up next since we're doing CA this time. He hasn't seen his brothers since his fathers funeral and while we did get his daughter in Portugal for a few weeks that was almost a year ago and I'm sure he's going to want to either fly her to us (most likely) or make another trip to the ::ahem:: wrong side of the country.
