I am glad this baby is unharmed and all is well.

That said, wtf will it take for people to get the message that you should not leave children alone in a running car?  Any time is too much time.

you shouldn't leave kids in the car period. my cousin climbed out of his carseat, popped the car into neutral, and unfortunately it was parked on an incline. it rolled down the hill and under a semi trailer. my aunt had the keys in her pocket, it wasn't even running. she was damn lucky he wasn't killed. just goes to show you, shit happens.

To the title of the OP [partly because the link won't load for me], when you stepp out of the driver's seat you take the keys with you. Then of course the car is not running. My Grampa would climb up out of his grave and shoot me if I did otherwise.

My niece pulled into her driveway with her 3 year old in a car seat. She got out of the car to open her garage door and the baby reached over and pulled the shift into drive. The car pinned her against the door and broke both legs. Lucky for her the neighbor saw it happen and ran over jumped in the car and backed it away from her. For awhile they thought she would loose a leg.

OK

Yup, that old fucker gets smarter every year, despite being dead.
