Please excuse me; I hope this is the right forum. But could anyone suggest a hair removal product for the more tender and shall we say; gentle, sensitive areas. Some one gave me advice, but not from here...I found out the hard way don't wax....nuff said.
Somewhat embarrassed but always respectful and now sore as well

I like the Nair for bikini area.  It works really well, at least for me.

BTW, waxing does get easier each time you do it

My husband and I use hair conditioner and a semi-dull razor. You might get some bumbs the frist time, but that and the itching stops.

If you have a problem with nicking yourself maybe you need someone else to shave for you

There's a search function here use it to look up shaving and genital hair. there's about 50 posts alone on the topic all very detailed and all diffrent idea's.

Nair has some stuff that is specifically for the genitals, nair never worked on me tho and it burnt like hell and stunk.

Remember all those depilitory creams are essentually burning the hair off.

Surgi-cream hair removal foam for the bikini area.

Nair, Veet, other depilatories will burn the scrotum and anal areas, especially if a man has previously had jock itch or chafing of any kind!

Surgi-cream is mild, no smell, eliminates even the coarsest hair.

My sub always shaves, using a razor and ladies shave cream or Edge, but if and when I like him extra smooth for a session, I like to use Surgi-cream followed up by shaving with a razor.

After shave care is all-important.  Surgi-cream comes with a small tube of 'after shave balm' and while I wouldn't recommend it for use immediately before a session (because it smells neat but tastes nasty) it's great for use at night or during the day when itching or razor-burn is a problem.

For use immediately after shaving and even before a session, Neosporin creme works great. No odor, antibacterial, analgesic so it's stops minor pain or itching, and it's virtually tasteless once you've worn shorts for an hour or so.

I keep Neosporin creme on hand for My apres-shaving needs, too. I use it nightly after shaving, it completely eliminates red bumps or irritated skin the next day.

You'll find Surgi-cream foam and after shave balm, along with Neosporin creme (don't get the ointment, get the creme) at just about any brand name drugstore.

Texas Maa'm I've used neosporin before on skin problems mostly heat rash bacterial rashes breaking out in hot flabby area's and instead of stopign pain I found the dam cream inflammed the pain. Contact with heat sores or bacterial problems from heat just seem to make the skin scream when using neosporin.

I had trouble even with professional waxing.  Still do it on occasion but because of past problems I don't always.  I'm not thrilled with removal products.  I bought a men's Norelco which works wonders for a great close shave.  Exfoliating keeps the skin soft and smooth and prevents ingrowns (I prefer natural products like Aveda).  Unscented, natural lotions (Natures Gate is good) helps to sooth.  Burts Bees powder is nice afterwards. Good luck.
