The Founders wanted States (and regions) to have some small amount of power in their own right.

Got no problem with the Senate. It works as an upper house pretty well.

But if you guys are so gung ho for the electoral college then let's repeal the 12th amendment and go back to what the founders actually intended.


Actually, I'm all for that.
It's hard for me to imagine that the fucked-up mishmash of unfunded mandates and unfunded liabilities we have today would exist under the original system.

And since at the Constitutional Convention, the electoral system is the compromise reached by the framers, youre right back to the electoral college, but without the clarification of the 12th amendment.

Prior attempts at its repeal failed for just that reason.

FOS? What have I posted that is incorrect about supplyside economics? And if youre claiming that supply side itself is wrong, then youre going to have to disprove several thousand economists who disagree with you.

As to several thousand economists there are several thousand different economists who have already proven the supply siders wrong. Your side just hand waves away the papaers and goes right on pretending that it never happened. That's why supply siders publish in conservative political journals rather than econ journals now.

I proved you wrong on your claims in regards to the disproven Laffer Curve. You had to incorrectly convert a value to try and make your claim look correct.
