You certainly have a green thumb! Gorgeous. I wouldn't think of pictures of my poor yard - 10 days below freezing last winter did most of it int.

How big were your evergreens when you got them? In 4 years here mine have grown maybe a foot now

A few were larger tho. If i were to do it over again- I would have focused on the blue spruces- and not bought any of the dripping pine. The blue spruce is a much nicer tree. i thought maybe those were christmas trees you can buy in a pot and plant out later! - when someone says 'yard' i think of concrete and outbuildings. here in the UK, we call that a garden [:)]

I've got a few blue spruces out there. They grow veeerrry slow. I'll have to take some photo's of them. It still amazes me here in the midwest where everything is so beautiful most people don't landscape anything. They are lucky to have grass. The way the wind blows...yeah you need lots and lots of landscaping unless you want to be a hermit the entire winter. I'm not old enough to be a hermit yet.

I just water alot in the summer. I might firtilise 2x a year. I also shape them.
