I am new to collarme.com and so far I find it awesome. My regards and many thanks to those responsible for its creation and operation.

English is not my native language, so my apologies if I word something in a funny way. (I know, when it happens it is usually everything but funny.)

This nickname of mine represents the first time in my life where I was able to create a new nickname for myself within seconds, without first having to give it tons of thought. Having made it a point to just come up with a nickname in ten seconds or less, I realized that the basic difference between now and ten years ago, when I was last into this scene, is that I now have some experience. It kind of feels like the difference between the first and the second version of my resume: on the first one I had no previous professional experience to mention, and that was so embarrassing. On the second one, a single item of previous work experience suddenly made such a great difference! So I thought I'd name myself XP, which is meant to stand for experience. My sincere apologies, of course, go to all those who have so much more experience than me, that my few years in a single affair sound like a joke. I am just excited, I can't help it.

I hate to say this, but my first thought on seeing your name had nothing to do with experience - I thought you were a techie who liked Win XP.

That said, we have Win D here who is FAR superior to anything outta Richmond.

Oh, "XP" for "Windows XP" would have been so lame! (Then again, I think I once heard that the "XP" in "Windows XP" was also meant to stand for "Experience". Oh, well.)

I have to admit that the eye is not mine, I found it on the interwebz. I chose it because its shape (and the eyebrow) look almost exactly like mine, and I darkened it to match my eye color. The original was hazel, and it must belong to a model, obviously younger than my age. Anyway, I promise I will upload something really of me as soon as I get the chance.

Okay, for the sake of completeness let me add that I changed that picture to an actual photo of my eye.
It turns out I originally got the color all wrong, way too much red in it.
