In #3, the cell, and right next to Lindsay Lohan.

At least I gave a straight answer.

Are we talking a weekend or a lifetime? Cause man, do I find cages and dungeons and cells hot, but you know when you've had a really long day and you've put on your softest pjs and you're all clean and well-fed and you slip in between your fresh, cool sheets and snuggle up with your enormous, fluffy comforter and the most perfect pillow on earth? Yeah. Can't do that in a cage.

Canopy bed with bars. Just saying.

I love the idea of captivity. I think my interest in BDSM and D/s started when I was little watching Saturday afternoon horror matinees. I especially love the old Hammer Film productions starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee and Barbara Steele and a bevy of buxom beauties in diaphanous nightgowns chained up in dungeons at the mercy of mad scientists and evil vampires. Since then I have had the opportunity to live my "dark" fantasy and have some of my own beauties in non-consensual consensual sensual captivity in our own make-shift dungeons.

I find cages and dungeons and cells really hot as well. In fact, one of my fondest memories was kissing a friend, who happened to be a fetish model and slave, 'good-bye' through the bars of her hanging cage. We were not romantically involved. We had a working relationship, she modeled for me, but she related to me as if she were my submissive. Of course she did not live in the cage. Her Master just like keeping her on display for relatively long periods of time. She was quite something to look at. She told me that being caged and displayed like that was both incredibly boring and arousing. Just another one of the many paradoxes of the lifestyle that I love.

The Tower of London.

Of course it would have to be a 21st century makeover, with a huge four poster bed, state of the art kitchen, sun balcony, spa bath...

...and all of those lovely manacles and chains and...woohoo!!!

In your wildest, or darkest, fantasy (perhaps this is your reality) how would you describe your physical domestic space; 1) stable, 2) kennel, 3) cell, 4) dungeon, 5) cage, or 6) other.

Definitely a stable... pony play is the best - brought out to be trained and entertain rich people. Second choice is a dungeon in a castle - brought out for parties. I guess the kennel is real cute too!

I'm not very good at the fantasy thing because I can't help but think about the reality. We have numerous castles with dungeons in Europe and I've visited several of them. They are cold, cramped, the floors are made of stone and uneven so hard to walk on, stairways are so narrow it's hard to get up and down so I would opt out of a dungeon. I hate being cold. Stable might be okay if it were filled with nice fresh hay. I don't have allergies so as long as there was no mold or mildew I could hunker down for a bit in a stable but then I think about how scratchy hay is and it's not something that appeals to me that much. Kennel is a no. Wire is just too hard on the knees and a cage.. iron bars to sleep on? No again. Cell.. depends.. is it in a dungeon? lol Prison cell would be very hot for a weekend, but as a perm domestic space, I'm pretty happy with our high-rise apartment complete with all the modern conveniences (as modern as they get in Italy anyway) and elevators.

I'm pretty boring huh? ::grins::

No need to go to all that trouble. A nice little cottage on the beach will work just fine.

A cell or cage has always seemed more appealing, fitting, effective and practical from either side of M/s for me. That said, I'd point out there is a difference from where you'd be "kept" vs. your overall "physical domestic space"; the latter covers a lot of ground. It's perhaps better to ask: where do you envision being "put away" within that domestic space? Simple walk-in closets are good for that, too, by the way.

a chateau - sort of Gormenghast meets italian riviera - turrets and towers jutting phalickly from a thick forest of pine atop a cliff face of impenetrable granite and far below a village full of shops selling chocolates, brioche, camembert and an excellent home pressed chablis.

Sorry guys. I'm bailing the castle for the Patty Hearst fantasy instead.
