facepalm really-this again? ok, #1, the NAACP is not a racist organisation. the point is LEVEL the playing field of race relations. Stop getting so hung up on the word "advancement". I'm glad you lot understand what the definition of it is, but the NAACP is not for the advancement of coloured people OVER caucasian people so that the coloured folk can rule the USA.#2, the tea party isn't racist. the media often(if not, always) decides to choose the biggest, dumbest, racist that they can find to talk on camera and the claim to be part of the teaparty. The same applies to the NAACP. #3Affirmative action is not racist. Once again- its to LEVEL the playing field. And to those who cling to AA and other ethnicity organisations are racist, you always "forget" to state to whom they are racist against. Now, are we done here?

It is only when thought comes into play that we get questions like, "is that ice thick enough?," or, "how are we gonna pay for this, exactly?," or, the always popular, "are you fucking stupid?,". FR- Well the fallacy in the article is to conflate all white people into a single class. Because the real unexamined story in America is class, even more than race. Poor whites do have some justification for getting annoyed at hearing about "white priviledge"- many a blue collar stiff looks around his double wide and syas wft? when he hears that phrase. But the truth is, the wealthy and priviledged class oppresses both poor whites and for most of our history, black people in general. The fact that there is now a black middle class doesn't change the fact that it is easier for white people than black to climb the ladder. The real scandal is that the ladder is swiftly receding up into the stratosphere for poor people of all color; for the past few decades, the middle class has in fact shrunk, and the rich are in fact getting richer. no one even disputes this anymore. So for working class whites and blacks to stand araound bitching at each other might make the banksters at Goldman Sachs smirk, it doesn't do anything to help the real problems we face.
