Due to my recent loss of a sub i find myself on the path to a new adventure, So tell me how can i make my experience in CM one that is productive?

Sorry, but I don't know what "productive" means to you. What is it you want? Then maybe we can advise you on how to get there.

True what i mean is i want to have the best experience with my new sub, this is my first "active" search for one and i know that its going to take time and trust what i seek from these forums is a bit of advice on how to incorporate a totally compliant sub into my life. I have always had a sub in some aspect of my life but not as formal as i want things to become now. Yes i know that all individuals have different needs rules ect but there must be some common standards that apply to bringing on a new sub no?

Welcome.

I'd say that really, there aren't any standards. What you want, and expect, may not be what anyone else wants, but that doesn't make it wrong for you.

Your best bet may be to check out the Mistress section, and find some subjects that click with you, there are good people here that you can learn from.
