Actually this is come up on major news networks. The problem that is more acute is, that even though a record number of younger voters actually voted last election, the turnout was still only a small percentage of the whole. If young people want the change many are claiming they want, then more of them are going to have to vote.

The problem that is more acute is whether I have to suffer through more rap music when I drive somewhere with my Latino son. Conflict between the gray and the black with a brown. Oooooooohhh.

Things improved considerably after that, though not to the level of the creative tsunami of the 60s and 70s.
