My sister announced her allergy, though, and sent me a link on celiac disease and gluten allergy and when I went over the symptoms, I was like, wow. Because I had been experiencing some of those same symptoms myself and they are not things you want to talk about. And sometimes, the reaction can be very embarrassing. I hate that. But I haven't had the embarrassing symptom in a long time, so I'm happy about that. I attribute that to the fact that I no longer eat PB& honey sandwiches or any other kind of sandwich. And I stay away from stuff with gluten in it, which is just about EVERYTHING UNDER THE FREAKING SUN! But I occasionally just eat that piece of cake, or usually, as much of that cake as I can since it's right in front of me, staring me in the face, or bagel or that really great bread at the restaurant that's piping hot from the oven with butter. However, I just had pancakes! Gluten Free pancakes! And they were VERY good! Just like the real thing! It was so nice to have pancakes again! And they're not going to hurt me. It's Maple Grove Farms All Natural Gluten Free Pancake Mix. And there's even a recipe for Pineapple Upside Down Cake on the box! It was great!
