southernsultry -> Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 5:20:08 PM)

I wonder if anyone has thought of this...there are (correct me if I'm wrong)..but over 12 million illegal immigrants in the USA. So, regardless of AZ, I wonder if Pres Obama will make them legal , as that would ensure a win in 2012...just reminds me of when RR did the same for Cubans. Florida went Republican forever....I just think we are watching a "dog and pony"dance....but the Dems know they will need more votes in 2012. 12 plus million "Thank You" votes may be the game plan.

Just a thought.

Any thoughts from you guys?

Thanks:)
Southern

Have you always been this ignorant or is a work in progress?
Of your estimated 12 million illegals were you aware that a little over half entered my country legally and have overstayed their visas (student,h-1B,tourist etc.)

Southern, let me apologize for thompsonx.  His manners are a bit abrasive at times.  As are the manners of many in Politics and Religion.

I have to echo Thompson's sentiments, you're *JUST NOW* thinking about this?
Have you been "gone" somewhere for a long time?
Do you have a Parole Officer?

Owner59 -> RE: Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 5:39:15 PM)

Some points.

Obama is not emperor.Can`t do what you suggested.

Did you know Florida went Obama?

Did you know Obama received more votes than any president in American history?

And did you know that there are more men cops and soldiers patrolling the border now than at any time previous?

Now come have a seat on my lap and I`ll tell ya all about it.

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge in a given area.
Stupid on the other hand is an inability to overcome ignorance.
Abrasive is that truth which chafes the ass of self imposed ignorance.
Manners...I can usually (but not always) decipher which fork to use for my salad[8|]

You are such an unmitigated slut

Highly unlikely, considering that he can't even get an unemployment bill past this congress[:D]

It sounds a bit Alex Jone-ish, Glenn Beckish conspiracy theory-like to me. Was there a chalkboard involved when you heard this idea?[:D]

There is no doubt Democrat elite sees illegals as undocumented Democrats. They are correct, of course. From legalization to actual citizenship is a long way. It takes at least six years. They will be made legal for several reasons. I believe the most important are economic reasons. The government does not even understand the opposition to legalization. Their cultural model is mass consumption, globalization and free movement of labor.

Julia, for God's sake, don't mention "Glen Beck" or we'll have Rulemylife in here screaming at everyone!

Owner59 -> RE: Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 5:54:57 PM)

They have to go through a long and hard citizenship process.Takes years for most.

They are free to vote how they like.

That`s democracy.[:D]

Get over it.

The US is entering depression. It could be in five years illegals are the lucky ones; they have their home country to emigrate.

A similar thing happened in 1921, 1922, etc after Prohibition went into effect. There ensued a reverse migration. Many recent immigrants went back to Italy. However, as it turned out it became relatively easy to get a drink in this country. The Italians who stayed had a good romp in the bootlegging industry. [:D]

John McCain was for it before he was against it.

Thanks DarkSteven:) I don't think he realized that I was putting a question to the masses. Intelligent is in short supply these days!

slvemike4u -> RE: Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 7:21:38 PM)

So is intelligence....just saying.

I was funning with you! Although I would say it does seem kinda improbable that we would see Obama legalize anyone. It sounds like whomever hatched this idea is afraid of the dark skinned people becoming legal and voting.

We have talked enough and i know you support a path to legalization so we can tax them... which would be a win win for all of us

southernsultry -> RE: Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 7:32:44 PM)

LOL@it all. Of course I've been aware of the situation with Immigration. However, President Obama had some ideas on how to deal with it and, honestly, I haven't seen his "ideas" in place. Again, I put a question, thought, idea (whatever anyone wants to call it) and I got ripped ...lol...Amazing. But, I'm fine with calm, rationale discussion. Doubt I'll get it here...grins

southernsultry -> RE: Can you feel it...Immigration (7/26/2010 7:35:04 PM)

Julia, I think that's a solid idea----definitely help out the states who are supporting health care, schools, etc....the other issues are more serious, and hopefully, resolution will follow:) Hugs.
