And when you speak, remember to use the personal "I" to start expressing yourself, instead of the defensive-mode inducing "You." That would be much too harsh and indelicate of you, even if you are an asshole. (LOL) OK, let's try this together just for practice... Don't say things like "You make me crazy, you ______" ( insert whatever phrase you like here). No, no, no... that would be insensitive of you. Instead use the personal "I," ok? Here we go... "I know that you are insane, I know that you are a whacked out freak who jerks my chain and pisses me off, etc., etc." See? Doesn't that just feel better? And so much less insulting than a personal attack or starting off a rant with the word "You." [sm=lol.gif] Despite being a natural redhead with green eyes and a flaming hot temper at times, I feel that my sensitvity training has really done wonders for me. Daddy would be so proud... LMAO [sm=preen.gif] ~ Red Ohhh someone paid attention in her anger management classes! I always thought you learned to substitute "I...feel....when...you...." statements for those accusatory "YOU" statements. Instead of "you nasty whoring bitch!" you learn to say "I feel bad WHEN YOU do the entire Green Bay defensive line in our vacation home in a weekend." And the problem with holding hands or sitting opposite is the restraining order won't let that happen. non-confrontationally yours, E.
