Think of it as a problem with language processing; when she said one thing, did you use your past knowledge of BDSM porn to interpret what she was "really" saying?
No, when she talked, I listened pretty much like I do when ever anyone talks to me.

1) At first no the stories did not help, they read like pornography and I made it a point to say so to my domme who was having me read and report on it. While I did not say so in the right fashion she in any case rectified the situation by choosing what I read. She picked out certain short story books for me to read and then things got better with the quality and depth of the stories.

2) It actually did and I remember making my domme so proud when I proved I had gotten the meaning of one of her favorite stories, it was a great day for the both of us ^_^

3) That was the case at first, I would answer according to what I thought she would want to hear. That is just such a big no no in my book, cause it is dishonest, and dishonesty is tantamount to lying, to yourself and to your domme.

4) I used very little of it, if any, when serving my domme. It was at best a second hand experience to gauge yours by, you need to build your own experiences and hopefully learn from them.

1. I never thought about this until this thread but I have to say yes as it gave me exposure to BDSM.
2. No, but it gave me ideas on scenes and fetishes I had not thought of before.
3. No it didn't condition me into one way of thinking of how BDSM should work, I had my own fantasy thoughts on that but it did make me wish it was all that easy to happen.
4. I use to try being the perfect sub and I would over think what Mistress said instead of just acting on what she said. I don't think that was related to porn books.

This post made me think about something all those BDSM books came from my Dad's porn collection..... hmmmmm
