Ladies Should grossly incompetent individuals be fired? No second chances, no pension arrangements, no compensation at least not initially, just fired. Im coming to this conclusion as a result of an experience I had today I was online applying for jobs or rather trying to. I clicked on the site. I registered as requested no problem there. So I click on search for vacanies button and think Im going to apply. But no a message comes up an unexpected error occurred please try again later. This happens about ten times today. Meantime I get a message from the employer thanking me for my application by email , I got fed up of trying through the site with no success , so I applied by email, but that all applications will only be taken further if the application is online, in other words they are not going to take my application further if I dont apply online, that would be all very well if the site worked but it doesnt and even this evening when I tried to apply online as requested I get this message coming up which blocks my access to the vacancies section. I told them by phone about this and that it was unsatisfactory. They said they would have it fixed by this evening. I phoned them at 3pm, it is now 5.45 pm. What do you think Ladies at a time when many people are losing their jobs, some through incompetence, but most because of the economic situation, isnt it only right that grossly incompetent individuals, such as this example should lose their jobs too. Where is the fairness in many individuals losing their jobs because of economic circumstances and others holding on to their jobs even though they are clearly not performing. If they were performing their jobs properly, I and thousands of other job seekers would not be locked out from applying for jobs because of technological faults with the website that should be fixed by now but isnt. Is this really good enough? It makes me laugh, I lost my job through alleged incompetence, ie alleged inability to do the job , yet others cling on to their jobs despite clear evidence that they cant do theirs kevin
